Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?

Five years can consider as long time also can be short, if you can understand what you want to do and have some plan that how you need to do in your life, in five years time you can make a bit different of your life and different of yourself. I am 22 years old now, after five years I already 27 years old. 27 years old consider as a man, a man mean you already get success in your work, your family and your dream. Meanwhile, in this five years time, we must put some afford to our life although is in our job, dream or relationship with family and friends. Because after we 27 years old, maybe we can say that we already not young people, so this is the important five years time in our life.

First of goals I set for myself in this five years time is I want to be a business man. Everybody also want to be a business man, but they do not know how can be a business man and what is business man. I also not sure what is business man, in my knowledge, business man mean boss of the company or boss of some small business. I do not like to be assistant or manager in manufacturer or company, I also do not like to follow any rule or working hour that set from the company. Many people saying that, working in some famous manufacturer have a lot of benefit, that right, although my parents also tell me after graduate can work at manufacturer. But I do not like everything of manufacturer, I like to work in the environment that can get some freedom for me, I wish I could do some small business after I graduate, but if want to do some business must has a lot of money to buy stock, so maybe I still need to work in manufacturer or some company to earn and save money. I hope I can created an own business in five years time and let me be a success business man.

After be a success business man, travel around the world is my dream. I always tell myself I want go travel alone, be a backpacker or tourist, I want try travel alone and how is the feeling. Many web states that, travel alone can make you learn some new things, knowledge and important advantage is you can know more clearly about yourself. Because when you travelling yourself in stranger countries, their culture and people are very new for you, you need to decide which station you need to go and how to communicate with people that you do not know about him or her. After you done the travel, you can improve your knowledge and learn how independent you are. A success man must has these kind of things, if you always need some people beside you or always follow people, you will not yet success in your life. So travel alone always is my goal. I wish in five years time, I could travel alone in many countries. The first location I want to travel alone is Hong Kong, because I like their culture and the view of the city.

Family is always important for me. I have an awesome parents and siblings, I also have a good girlfriend, I really appreciate that I have them in my life. In five years time, I will continue to love them more and take care them. After I get success, I hope I can build a small family in my life. Beside that, I am very quite person, so I do not have many friends, although close friend also only one or two I guess. I always try to be friendly to my friends, because I really like to make fun or dealing with them. When you growing up then you will know some of friends they just close to you is for some interest or want get some benefit from you, so I hope I would not facing this kind of people, and I hope our friendship can be forever and get success together.

How I get achieve all these goals, the important things is how I change myself from quite become well communication person. I know many people will say that I am so quite, cannot get well communication with other people and how to be a good business man, sure always sit at office doing office boy. I always try my best to communicate with people and always looking forward to try or learn some new things. I believe I can use this five years time to learn and become better. I want change myself to very different from now in after five years time.

In this five years time or after that, I hope I would not have any financial problem. I can see a lot of people who are facing financial problem, they everyday worried about tomorrow, they worried how to pay money to the debtor, they worried will bank call them to ask them pay money or charged them. I hope I would not be that, I want my life goes smoothly and harmony. From now, I want try to save some money for my future, although is only some money, maybe this money can help us in our future.

Of course, we must also fight for our future, not saying that I want to be a boss then I do not work at manufacturer. But when you do not have money, how to created an own business. Do not always dedication, we must plan our life, but if cannot make it, we must know how to change the plan and try some new ways to find the right decision.

             It has been long time I keep think one question that is after 5 years which one is my living style is it I still alive or still remain single or already get married or already become rich people because I got do some investment about shares or still maintain the normal life.

            Now my ages are 22 years old after 5 years the age become 27 years old. Mostly people at that age already success in their job. But for me, I think that all is fated already, the god wants you dead you cannot escape it. In Buddhism book got talk about karma, I very believe that karma although you didn’t do any bad things or hurt people but maybe pervious time of you got do those kind things so you must pay for it. Cause karma is a cycle cannot end.

            In Buddhism book got saying that living, aged, sick and death is a cycle. Every person must go through those stages. So if i still alive mean my time haven’t come yet. And now days the worlds already sick every ice bergs from Atlantic Ocean melt the sea level increase 5 cm. And the world keep have war and although now world economic quiet stable but maybe after 5 years the world economic drop many people lost their job and many company bankrupt.  

            Therefore, I maybe survive from those economic crises and become a millionaire because now I already keeping money to buy all share when the economic drop because economic crisis maybe will arrive mostly around 4 to 6 years after that sure big one come. Example 1993 1 times, 1997 all Asian economic drop, 2003 SARS case at Asian, 2008 Automobile industry crisis, and now 2015 China market drop. Once it drop all economic flow back to United State means that it is the time to buy stoke after that wait around few years sell it back those share why need few years because 1 country economic want return back as normal need around 2 years above so that can maintain it.

           

I and my brother and his friend want to open internet shop that is sell shirt, but the big boss not me is my brother friend and my brother. Maybe after 5 years, we can open a shop already or maybe few shop cause our income not only from selling shirt we also got do some investment such as buy house or land. The shirt them is DOTA is e-sport game, it very famous around the world maybe some people don’t know it but mostly who have play computer games sure know about it. 

            After 5 years my one dream maybe success that is go trip by self when 25 years old. The country that I want to go is Japan. Because I want see how they so success in the economic is it their attitude or other things. Because after World War 2, Japan economic drop very badly but they recover it very fast and become the top country in Asian. Not only want see their economic I also want test the country that have 4 Season I want feel the cold weather and play snow. I will go there 2 week or more because I not only want go Tokyo the biggest shopping mall street that name is Ginza, I also want go see their Japan history that is at Kyoto. At there we can see their culture more deep and see the palace after that go Hokkaido go for spring and eat sea food although I very less eat food.

            After 5 years I had a big condominium or big bungalow, I will invite my college friend to party with it. Because I had make deal with them after 10 years we all come out meet again, so if between that 10 years me 5 years already success in my life I will make my promise invite them. That time I will have a small piano because I want to learn it although people will say it late but for me is nothing if you like it no matters how old are you, you will try get it or test it. I will have small collection or wine or whiskey some drinks about alcohol. After working go back home had a small glasses wine or whiskey the feel will very cool and awesome at the same have some small snack watching TV.    

At that time I had 2 luxury car, but I will remain driving motor go to work because I want modest myself don’t want let many people know that I become rich people because many people will come kidnapped you or say you ego because you rich. But if any friend had any problem I will try to solve it if any friend comes to me.

That time my parents mostly become a vegan not eat meat anymore, because me and my 2 brother already big have self-life style they don’t want step into our life but they remind  if we want follow them don’t want follow them is ok. But the one thing they keep remind is if you become rich already try do more good things like release any fish because it is good for us or donate some money to school or temple or build temple. Because those things are good for us it is a merit.

My life still remains single or already in relationship; I not have any idea about it. But I hope that I still remain single because still many things to do like go any country by your own can chit-chap with any girls.

So I hope those good things can happened although cannot never mind because it already had been fated but the things that we can change is we keep hardworking do more good things let those merit change our destiny, Try don’t eat many sea food or anything about meat try to be a vegan and try don’t keep say people bad words cause although you no doing bad things like kill people betray people steal things but you say bad words or things it also will affect our destiny. Try do good more things or avoid say bad words gossip people it will change our life.

            What do I want to see myself in 5 years? Well this is a good question, most of us would not probably think about it unless other people ask what you want to be then you will only think about it. For me, future could be cruel or it might be a bright future while 5 years it could be a long period for someone and it also might be short period for someone while I just thought 5 years is a fairy good time frame for me to improve myself because I can improve myself from my mistakes so imagine a 5 years, how much the mistakes that I had made so this is a good pathway to improving.

            Currently, I am 21 and I just a boy who study degree and this year is the last year for me to study. After graduate I have to work in some company perhaps be a business man depending on the situation. If I choose to work in MNC company, then my 5-years plan have to focus on my career. While within this 5 years, I try interview some big company like Maxis, because work in Maxis Headquarter is a dream job for me so in those years I would try to achieve it and try getting hire by them. While after I been hired by them then I would give my best in my job and getting at least one job promotion within 5 years. But I know to achieve something great like this have to be extraordinary than other people, I have to do the things that other people do not want to do, I have to take a lot of pressure than others but I always have belief that nothing come from free, if I want something I have to earned it.

           What if I choose to be a business man then the business that I want to do is something meaningful and something I really passion about it. Fashion is my passion so the business that I want do is something related to it, something which is like I want to create a clothing business with my business partners which it could be my brother, friends or someone who shared the same vision and passion with me. This business could be establishing after I graduated but it had to be well planned and having enough resources to start the production. While within 5 years I could foresee some images that I will achieved it. At first, I would design the shirt, pants and accessories with my team which we have our own brand name which I called it “Cohen” which I want dedicated it to my father. This is our dream which to make this brand become a famous clothing brand but in 5 years perhaps I could achieve some reputation in Malaysia which is fairly good enough for me.

            During this 5 years, I just have to sacrifice my own private life first because I have to focus on my career which I will not having girlfriends at the moment so I have to said sorry to my mother because I feel a little bit guilty to her but I know my family will understand about it. So when I having my own business which mean I have to travel a lot because I have to negotiate with my suppliers, I have to go to the countries which having a good quality of cotton to let me made a good quality shirt. Thus, I also have to negotiate with models to advertise for my brand so this is harder than a job, this is something I have to treat it as part of me. If I wanted to achieve such achievement which my company will facing a lot of competitors so I have to think something different with other competitors. Like Steve Jobs used to said copy other people stuffs could not make your company into the top, you only manage to follow their footsteps which consumers will mostly prefer the well-known brands so it would not make my company having a unique values and reputation if I doing copycat.

            Beside jobs, careers or business, sometimes I have thought that I can travel around the world which I really curios about culture of other country. I will do this after I having a successful business or career, I treat it as my long holiday which take few months to travel. For instance, travel to European countries, south and north Americas countries and some on. During that time, I will leave my job and enjoy my holiday with a good camera like Leica so I can capture down every precious moment that I been to so when I older, I could look back what I have do in my past also I could share those moments with my children.

            In conclusion, everything is possible to achieve in 5 years or 10 years, if you could not achieve in 5 years then extend your own dateline and try to reflect why you could not achieve in 5 years then make improvement so that we cannot repeat the same mistakes again so we could achieve our dreams or targets efficiency and efficiently because sometimes when we innovate, we made mistakes so the best way is to admit them quickly and get on with improving your other innovations. If we want something then we should focus on it and chasing it because this is our own things, is nothing related to other people so we should not care what other people judge about your dreams, do not let other people ruin your dreams, if other people did not understand and look down on you then they are fools because something the impossible could be possible, sometimes then people that we laugh, it could the next successful person. Sometimes life is going to hit you in the head with a brick but do we have choices? No, so do not lose faith unless you want to give up yourselves.

         Firstly, I definitely see myself must graduate from SEGi collage Penang as a Bachelor’s of Business Management Degree student. For sure that I need to be very hard working on my study and dare to face those challenge which will face in the moment on my study. Furthermore, I had set a little goal for myself which is graduate as a Second-class Honors title student. I hope to keep in touch with my college friends even after we already graduate from college.

          After graduated and before looking for a job in local, I would like to get myself travel to oversee for 1 to 2 years. Maybe I will go to Australia or Taiwan, because I like the places which have four seasons. At the same time, while I traveling at there, I will find myself a part-time jobs to cover my traveling expenses. Therefore I will get myself working as a farming worker especially the aquatic plant farm. Because I’m very interested in aquatic planting and to get learn the knowledge and experiences. Working at oversea is a way for me to get learn on the way they work and the culture of their people as well. Hope those experiences can lead me on achieve my dream which is having my own aquatic farm. The purpose to have this plan is to give myself calm down and think clearly what I should do, where should I go as well. The main purpose is to get more understanding on myself before me entering my permanent career.

         The 3th year after I’m came back from oversea, I will find a job which is categories in marketing department of a company. While I’m in this career I would set myself to be a responsible employee and keep a very good relation with my colleague and be friendly nature with others employees. I won’t care too much for the income, the main thing I care is the significance of the job, which is will the job is able to make contribution and able to help for the society. The moment I working in the company I will learn from other people strength and get know my own weakness by asking other colleague as well.

         To improve communication skill is a must for me, therefore while in this marketing line it was a good way for me to improve my communication skill even better. Furthermore, I will keep myself up to date and will attend motivation class frequently to myself away from stress and moving forward positively. In my communication skill I will start to learn on new language besides the 4 language that I know now which is Chinese, Cantonese, Hokian, English and Malay. I will choose between Japanese, Korean and French. I believe that knowing many type of language can make me more confidence and increase the ability to communicate with different people from different country.

         At the year 4th to 5th, I want to see myself in that position where I can get the respect and give the respect, such as be a unit sell manager. The respect which I get not because of my position at that time but because of my hard work, experience, skills and myself as a friendly and humble person. To be humble, I have to improve my EQ to become better. Because I know I’m a person who is very emotional. To improve better EQ, I will keep myself to keep on track of my hobby. It is a good way to reduce my stress which is keep myself busy on my hobby.

         I also have another weakness which is when I facing difficulty I will retreat. This is a really important of my weakness to be improve. Because I know retreat or try to escape when I facing problem is useless. This is also the point that I try to improving nowadays, so that in this five years I must change this bad habit.

        Therefore, I believe health is very importance for everyone. But for me it is stand a very important part of my life. In this 5 year and onwards I will take regular exercise to keep my body healthy and fit. I must to burn out the little fats of my belly, yup it seems cute sometimes but I don’t want to be cute, I want to be fit. Other than keep myself healthy, I will also take care of others people around me. Such as, asking colleague to go for healthy food for lunch, give advice to my friends who is a smoker to stop smoking and asking my friends or family to exercise together.

         At the 5th year, I will help to pay my home expenses while that time my parents will be retired. Therefore, I will bring my parents together go for a travel. It is not only for enjoy and having fun together with my mum and dad, it is also one of my way to thanks them. Because they not only take care of me and teach me, they had put so many times and energy to cultivate me.

        I aim for myself to be a professional. After be a professional in my career, than which will lead me to have a stronger and stable income that able to bring me to a better life quality in future. I aim to improve my ability of myself and be a better person. Other than that, I have a big aim which is not only make myself to be a successful person, is to make other people to be success together with me. In my dictionary, this is only call the great things of success and the truly success. Lastly, I will try to push myself to make things better, it is not things that is perfect but better.
